The 2015 comp should have been ours for the taking and would have been but for JWH's injury.

Highlight of the season for mine apart from the bittersweet experience of witnessing RTS' coming of age as a fullback was beating the Warriors win in NZ. The Broncos win we showed a lot of grit and was close to our best effort of the sesson but it was a lowlight for me as we lost our forward leader and co csptain. Beating the Storm mid season was also a great win.

Lowlight of season was our PF game against the Broncos the first 15-20 minutes was like watching a horror movie.

Other lowlights being losing JWH and to a lessor extent Pearce to injury. Losing RTS to Warriors and Meehans behaviour.

Next year if we make top 4, it will be a very good result for us. This year considering the way we finished, was a failure when you take into account we had won the MP yet again.

Can't disagree with any of that.

Beating Manly at Brookvale to end their season was also a highlight for me.

Highlight: Going 15-1; yes, 15-1, after starting the season 3-5. And the form of our pigs during that run.

Lowlight: JWHs cataclysmic injury and also saving some of our worst form for the games that truly mattered for the second year in a row. I just don't understand what happens to us mentally in the finals. Our defence turns to water.

                    Highlights
                    - Minor premiership
                    - Taukeiaho and Evans ripping apart experienced forwards
                    - Seeing Fergo develop as both a person and a player throughout the season despite significant setbacks
                    - Seeing Souffs fail (despite having 'forgotten how to lose')
                    - Seeing Hastings handle himself in first grade
                    - Seeing us keep just about everybody aside from RTS and Maloney despite 3 minor premierships in a row. S*x losing both but I think that the alternative woulda been a disaster.

                    Lowlights
                    - RTS signing with the Warriors
                    - SKD getting charged
                    - Jennings getting charged
                    - Meehan getting convicted and sacked
                    - Seeing Kennedy get exposed as a waste of precious salary cap space
                    - Fergo getting injured
                    - JWH getting injured
                    - Loss to the Sharks
                    - Losing Maloney
                    - Losing to the Storm in the 1st round of the finals
                    - Losing to the Beoncos in the preliminary final (the GF was awesome but quite frankly I think we've got the better team when we don't play like poo)

Highlight- win v warriors that got our season back on track.

Lowlight, losing both of our and the nrls most potent attacking weapons, and replacing them with nobody.

I cant believe the Chooks didn't win the comp this year. I dont often think they are going to win a club game yet alone the comp but this year I really thought they could & would win the comp. The Melbourne loss cost them just like last year with Penrith IMO.

If they can finish in the top 4 again next year it shows the club is strong & in good hands.

I am usually a bit of a pessimist too. However, this year until Jared got injured, I thought we were going to create history and steamroll our way to the title. Even with him out injured I still thought our finals campaign was disappointing. We should have beaten the Storm and given ourselves a shot with a PF at home.

I think we will finish somewhere between 3rd and 8th depending on injuries to key players and how quickly our fullback adapts to the role. We have lost a lot of proven point scoring ability with Jimmy and Roger Tuivasa-Cheque leaving.

Highlight for me was the victory against Brisbane down here on a Saturday night. I was violently ill, couldn't even cope with watching the tv, so I was listening on the radio like the olden days. So relieved when that game was over as it seemed like a really brave struggle. Other highlight is finding out the new guy at work in my team is an Easts fan so I will no longer be the lone Rooster in the office.. I don't have anything negative to say as I don't like to focus on lowlights.

I really thought the Chooks were going to win the comp this year, Im personally not that disappointed but for the team & the team behind the team I think they would be stinging. The Roosters definitely had the best side up until Rd 24 & that game was the double edge sword. That game was the best game of the season for the Roosters & the injuries made it all the sweeter of a win but it went from sweet to sour with in hours & as hard as everyone tried to carry on the bottom line is you need your very best team on the field to win comps. The Roosters gave it a good shot it just didn't work out.
The beauty of the footy is it will all be on again in around 10 weeks. Cant wait & look forward to watching the Roosters in the good & not so good times.

I also think the 2015 team was the best they have had for a long time up until rd 24, to lose Mini & SBW after 2014 the team really stepped up in 2015 but to now also lose RTS & Maloney who are strike players in key positions will make 2016 a more difficult season & that's with a fully fit team.
