Pearce to 6, Hastings to 7.

Pearce's running game will give us what we lose with Maloney going.

    Hastings is not a 5/8.

Take it as read - it will happen

I would not be surprised if this happened. It seems to make sense.

Actually this isn't the first time I'm hearing it. It has been said a few times on this forum since BBQ signed with the Sharks.

They will probably swap during the game to mix things up a bit.

Just seems right that hoju should wear the number seven.

Don't think it really matters either way. The 6 and 7 are less clearly defined than they once were.

Pearce can't even break a Kit Kat.

Exactly. Maloney and Pearce used to alternate regularly. Funny that people haven't previously noticed this. Maloney generally plays 2nd receiver on the left and Pearce plays 2nd receiver on the right on long shifts. If hitting a short side either player will jump in to first receiver depending on whether its the left or right side they are hitting. They may have had different numbers on their back but their roles were very interchangeable

Pearce has a great running game. For some reason we didn't see it much last season.

I wonder can we pay BBQ to sit on the sidelines at our games, and come on and do the goal kicking, seems a good idea to me, surely the Gummies wont complain, lol, just another 3rd party deal, all good.
