People have forgotten how well we briefly played for Freddy, and how poorly we played when we didn't like Freddy anymore. This team is a bunch of pea-hearted princesses. It has little to do with the coach.
They remind me of lazy public-servants hiding behind the unions. We need someone to yield the axe starting with Anasta and Minichiello to let them all know that they are not a protected species, and that complacency and lack of effort will not be tolerated.
The saddest thing is we are getting rid of Myles who has been the only forward to consistently make an effort over the last few years.

This man makes sense.

Wasn't Smith brought in to clean up the joint. Is he being allowed to do so? Did he want Anasta and Mini's contracts extended?
I think Smith has a lot to answer for with our playing structure etc. But he should not be held solely responsible if he is being hamstrung in what he can do by the powers to be

Correct weight.. Sacking the coach will be like changing the deck chairs on the titanic... He isn't blameless for sure but the problems won't be fixed by sacking him, in fact the liklihood is that things will get worse.
I don't hink Anasta has had his contract extended officially. If he has it stinks of nepotism. Cannot be justified because he does not even have a position.
The decision to give him 4 years will go down as one of the worst of recent times.
Things will only continue to get worse til this idiot is sacked. And please make no mistake, he is the one to blame. More of you will realise it in the weeks ahead.
I agree witht his 100 percent

When a team loses you don't automatically assume they didn't put in.
From where I was sitting at the ground, close up, it looked like there was plenty of effort there (perhaps Anasta can be excluded from the list).
We need to understand that the core of this team were wooden spooners not that long ago.
In 2010, with a new coach and the inclusion of Carney, the team played above expectations and eventually got on a roll. We did win a number of games by close margins so our season could have ended much differently.
This year other teams are treating us with more respect and our weaknesses are being exposed.
We have been in winning positions in about 5 or 6 games now, and won none of them. That is the difference.
On another day, the Sharks concede a try and the floodgates open.
