From the players behviour and interaction with the ref, I thought Nate was captain yesterday. If Anasta wasn't kicking off, you wouldn't have known he was there.

I will be honest as I was out all day and only turned on channel 9 a couple minutes into the match I initially thought I had missed that he had been made Captain as Nate was the one speaking to the refs.. Admittedly whenever a penalty is blown, Nate is bound to be somewhere nearby lol..

I meant Mini, but you could add many others to the list. They need motivation from The Fan.

SKD has been making an effort but is really nothing unless he has Carney creating space for him. This is what is going to piss me off over the next few weeks. The team relies on Carney to force the opposition to spread their compressed defense. Yet we are going to end up with the two slowest wingers in the comp which means the opposition will retain their compressed defense against us. They will not be afraid of Carney spreading the ball, or Carney kicking behind the defensive line for our wingers.... because he won't... there is no point anymore. Carney will be a marked man as he was yesterday.
