JT, do you know why he didn't apply himself in 2014 as he did in 2013?
Wallabies did not play well (lineout in particular) which was compounded by being royally dudded by the welsh ref. It seems to me that the nz yawnion team can do whatever they like on the pitch and its OK (just ask Brian O'Driscoll). If it isn't clear, I can't stand the sycophancy and deference of the nz yawnion team.
SBW more than put in imo in 2014. It was impossible to replicate his 2013 attacking effort - the greatest I've ever seen by a forward by a mile. But he still gave his all and had his moments.
The same can't be said for the likes of Maloney, Jennings and JWH.
God to dud.
Is this about him being unhappy with Pearce, Cords and co being on the turps too often?
Fill us in, unless it's a trade secret.............

Not to mention the - who can eat the most bbq ribs comp proudly won by JWH.
SBW is the consummate professional who always gave 100% and he didn't like ribs.

He decided that some players weren't as committed to going back to back as they should be. So he downed tools.
I am 50/50 about whether I want him back. If it's 2013 SBW then in a heartbeat. If it's 2014 SBW then pass.

I'd love SBW to finish his career a rooster. I'd personally play him off the bench from around the 20 min mark and let him roam for the rest of the game in attack. Someone with his offloading ability could be vital with the reduced interchange.

You are 100% correct. But let's not forget even SBW @ 75% runs rings around his counterpart, so I'm not sure why you are debating this in your own mind. He's no stooge... your not going to get the "1% er's" of 2013 when those around him are not putting in, cough FPN + co cough, cough.
SBW's approach and commitment need no adjusting... there's a tendency for a few in this side to stand back and watch while others put in like we saw with RTS late this season. Some people blame modern coaching for this 'predicament' but I don't buy that. If as a Roosters player you feel you cannot contribute to the game play given your role then you should be putting up your hand...
