  • Sonny!!!

After watching the wallabies get screwed in the first by the refs and seeing sbw class in the second half it reminded me of his influence he had on the mighty chooks especially in his first year with us. Ok its time to come back

That's what you call coming off the bench and making an impact. First three touches offload break, offload try, strip. Come back Sonny, we need you way more than the All Blacks do.

Gave his world cup winners medal away to a young boy.

        What a guy.

          I will always respect SBW.
I met him twice when he was a Rooster and he was so friendly and happy to chat. I would love for him to come back.

He'll most likely live to regret that either in his old age or when he sees that medal on Ebay.

What a wonderfully generous act - spontaneous and from the heart. Sonny showed the world what was important to him.

He is a true champion and a real hero.

He puts to shame all the other egotistical, morally bankrupt, supposed role models of sport.

I hope he comes back to the Roosters one day. It would be nice if it was as a player, but just having him around the place wearing a red, white and blue tie would be enough.

It's time to come home to roost.

JT, do you know why he didn't apply himself in 2014 as he did in 2013?

Wallabies did not play well (lineout in particular) which was compounded by being royally dudded by the welsh ref. It seems to me that the nz yawnion team can do whatever they like on the pitch and its OK (just ask Brian O'Driscoll). If it isn't clear, I can't stand the sycophancy and deference of the nz yawnion team.

He was also dudded by the English linesman who missed that blatant forward pass. That linesman had reffed the Aus v Arg game and he had already missed a few penalties that should have gone in favour of the Wallabies. I guess the Scotland game fiasco had the Aussies marked 'Not To Win'.

SBW more than put in imo in 2014. It was impossible to replicate his 2013 attacking effort - the greatest I've ever seen by a forward by a mile. But he still gave his all and had his moments.

The same can't be said for the likes of Maloney, Jennings and JWH.

Surely he will be given a replacement medal. And if not, he already has a world cup medal.
