  • 11 players unavailable this weekend from top 25

    Cherro (Knee)
    Watts (Knee/Suspension)
    Maubs (Shoulder)
    Linnett (Shoulder)
    Perrett (Ankle)
    Ryles (Hamstring/Back/Early Retirement)
    Symonds (Broken Finger)
    Kennedy (Foot)
    Conn (Neck)

    Myles (Origin)
    Pearce (Origin)

we haven't been competitive with a relatively full strength squad, it will be a slaughter this weekend against the Knights.

not sure where we go from here we are already the worst side in the NRL on current form and with so many players unavailable and passengers like Anasta/Riddell still being picked it might be a while before we chalk up another win.

Is Symond's finger actually broken or was it only dislocated?

Symonds has a compound fracture in his finger, normal recovery 4-6 weeks

not much point using painkilling injections at this point our season is already over, we will be better served trying to get some more game time for the likes of Tasi,Arona,Cordner,Goodwin,Lowe etc.

I saw Cordner walking down the street, the kid was limping heavily and could barely move.

make that 12 of the top 25 then

its looking very much like both Cordner and Symonds are going to be those players with plenty of potential that never get to reach any great heights because their bodies keep giving up on them.

We are bad but Parra is the worst side in the NRL.

I have been saying for a while now on here that things are going to get worse and worse but not maning are listening to me. And thats not even in reference to the injuries which wont help things either.

Fletch, a bit of a harsh call - a broken finger is just bad luck, not an indicator of a weakness for injuries.

That could also be because they are still growing and their bodies aren't quite ready yet.

Souths had their whole starting pack and strike centre watching from the sidelines and still beat the West Tigers. Its all about attitude.

We both can't defend, but atleast they can score trys.
