I believe the shits gonna hit the fan -Last week Burgess manager was asking 1.5mill a season- fat Rich flies over out of his scope of work with NRL and Burgess signs. There will be rumblings and whinging and axes falling.

As for the transfer fee, not included in the cap and won't even be noticed as missing by Crowe and Packer.

If Walker goes, it has nothing to do with Burgess, it's a series of different ongoing issues with him.
Required minimum for the cap? What, for all players? Or just so called marquee players signing for the lols? I don't give a rats about TPP TBH but wasn't Surgi on more than $700k a season before he left?

Why don't you go back to the Souffs forums?

No not for all players, basically a notional value as they did with Inglis. They are basically saying if you are trying to say you are paying less than 700K for him, we will not register the contract.
No, he was not on that much before he left.

However his value soared after his Grand Final performance.

I do. I also visit this forum, The Storm's, the Broncos and the Dogs. Is there a limit I am not aware off?

                There's no limit.

It's just that we don't like Souffs here.

And we don't like their fans either.

So Isaac Luke was on $1million a season and Surgi was on less than $700k is that right? And Surgi signed with yawnion for in excess of $1million a season and now is back on $700k+TPP, is that right? And the departing Glen Stewart freed up more $$$ than Surgi was on for an entire season, is that also correct?

                  Are you Nick Pappas?

I don't think they would have trouble fitting him in. Like sonny he is a player who can command great third party deals. And as mentioned they have lost a few players. The transfer fee is the interesting part of the situation and where this fits in with the cap.

I have no idea who even suggested Luke was on 1mil.

You may want to actually read what I wrote earlier:

Souths have lost G Stewart @350K, I Luke @450 and B Lowe @300k, don't see a need for them to move anyone on. Considering they have bought nobody of any note apart from Burgess for 2016, those salaries would cover it easily.

The NRL have stated that a transfer fee is not included in the cap as it is not paid to the player. Souths clarified this before signing Burgess and it has also been widely reported in the media.

Not that keen on most of them myself, we have something in common.
