Ay Cuzzy bro you don't no I am still over on the Philippine side of the South China Dutch bro'

I have just got some down time up on the South China sea coast side of Northern Luzon and some good internet connection for a change. Just browsing the Pen the last day or so and this thread prompted me to post. Having an absolute blast and will send you some of the better pics lol to you when I get home in just over a week.

Bigger signing than Fittler if it happens ..........
If uncle Nick pulls this one off, I'll get to Sydney somehow to celebrate with ya..

I still think it is a rather fanciful outcome if we get Hayne. However, sure sounds like a plan if it happens and I will hold you to that Eddie..

While I would give my left testicle for Hayne to play for the Chooks, TBH I would be happy to get either of Hiku or James Roberts. I have read they are free agents or potential free agents. Would be ideal players to have around while Latrell is developed into hopefully an outstanding Fullback one day. The added bonus is once Mitchell is our fullback if everything goies to plan then either Hiku or Roberts could then revert to the centres if their form and desire to continue to play for the RWB remains. I honestly hope Fergo remains a right centre as he is the best right centre in the business imo. Hiku or Roberts wouldn't be cheap but maybe we could hang onto most of our stars if that outcome eventuates.

Surely he has to come back next year as a more complete player. Seems like a lot of premature ejaculation to me.
Yep and who says all the other teams passed on him? I find it more likely that he passed on them because his current team said 'mate you're almost ready, we'll guarantee you decent cash and some game time later on if you pass on all their offers'.

Truth is, we don't have $1,000,000+ in the bank to sign him regardless. If we do, then WTF didn't we sign RTS for $800k? Aaaaah - because we don't have it.

None of us here have any real idea how the cap works and how much room we have etc etc.

If Hayne wants to come back to the nrl, it will be at our club. How we fit him in, whether we have to move a player or two on no one here really knows.

As for RTS, uncle nick has often said in the past that if a player deep down truly does not appreciate playing for our club and wants to leave for another club then he can fxxx off. If RTS really wanted to stay then I assume we would have found enough money for him to stay

His running style is usually backwards.

Must have eyes in the back of his head.

There was an article on RLW today with an interview with Wayne Beavis. He said he spoke to Hayne yesterday and that Hayne has said he is going to give the NFL another shot next year. He's not even in Sydney till Jan, where as the Rothfield article linking us to Hayne states he will be here in Dec for Xmas and that's when he will make his decision and remain in Aus. It's all BS.

The NFL season doesnt finish till Jan.

Also another article came out today stating the Titans are going to go hard for Hiku once Manly agree to release him. So we will have a fight on our hands and if we do, IMO I dont think we should get into a bidding war for a player like Hiku. I think he's worth max $400k if Titans want to throw $500k+ for him then good luck to them.

Also in regards to James Roberts, I can guarantee you he wont leave the Titans. He wanted to re-sign with them initially and pay them back for the faith they put in him. He wont leave now due to a stupid mistake by a staff member at the Titans.

Forget Hayne, I've heard some type of deal has been done with SBW. Hopefully will know more.

As for SBW, I wouldn't be surprised if Uncle Nick had struck an agreement for him to retire with us in 2018, so a two year deal from the end of next season.

I think Hayne will return to the NRL, but not until 2017. By then we will have seen how Fergo fairs as a fullback and how far Mitchell has developed. I'd say Jennings and Moa will have definitely found new clubs, along with potentially Aubo and Liu. So I feel that even if SBW returned, we would have enough money left for Hayne.

Imagine signing SBW and Hayne in one off-season. Wow

Why would we let go of Liu? He's a champ.

Why would let go of Aubbo? He's a champ.

Im not saying they will or they should, but if they happen to nab SBW and/or Hayne then the cap may bite. Especially with the likes of JWH, Napa, and Pearce off-contract in 2017.

If you are going to sign big names like SBW and Hayne, then you have to have guys like Aubbo and Liu in the team to balance the books...
