Great to see Toups so relaxed and confident. Looks like he's really come out of his shell but may have contributed to his great form at the backend of last season. He also looks massive, filled out a lot more. I'm sure some of that bulk will be gone after a few weeks of pre-season but right now he's looked to be closer to that 105-108kg range which, if he can keep his speed up, should be a very strong playing weight for him. Imagine that running at you. I'm hoping the staff can keep his size and build up his aerobic base a bit from last season. We will need him to take up the slack left by RTS in the ruck runs department. He'll have to turn his 10 runs a game into 15 this year to take pressure off Fergo.

Wonder if we could make a fullback out of the big fella?

Be futile bombing him...dangerous broken field runner...doubts on the organising ability and 80 minute intensity though.

        Never know..

          He looks like a backrower.

          Toops the machine!

Anybody know who the guy is with the light brown 'fro posing in the Sevens jumper at about 1:07 into the video?

That's Fijian International front-rower Eloni Vunakece(?) who played admirably for the Wyong Roos in 2015. IMO he's capable of playing @ NRL level. Goes hard, plays with passion and controlled aggression.

I hope Jake learns to pass behind our halves so they can play under to the inside runner.
