Just out of interest, a morbid curiosity if you like, how do you see the club looking in 2013? Who is coming or do you want to see come, who is going or do you want see go, who is going to be the coach, captain, chairman, will we still have a culture problem, the same number of members, where will we place etc etc etc. I've heard a lot of this club is crap, but I haven't heard many predictions by anyone. I think 2013 is a good year to pick, because we have a tonne of players off contract over the next two years, this year is going to crap so we can discuss who can pick themselves up over the coming seasons, and there is likely to be a salary cap rise. I'm interested to know what you think.

Looking at who is available, not much quality around that is unsigned.
here is the best of a bad bunch that are still? available..........

(off contract 2012): Oldfield, K Foran, Mannering, Barba, Zillman, Houston, Gordon, Locke
some hard decisions need to be made at the end of the year, who to keep & who to piss off.

I think our record of success will finally be ended, when by 2013 we are going to be bottom feeders. Knowing this club we will have sacked Smith by mid-2012, when the players revolt because Smith wanted to make some hard decision but Politis and the rest of the board wouldn’t let him. There will still be a culture problem, but since we have Politis and the rest of the business leaders on board there will be little done to fix it. I doubt that Anasta will be captain, after leaving with one year left on his contract, so Pearce will be given the captaincy. The membership base will have dwindled to about 5000, and our crowd figures will be around 10000 per game giving us the lowest figures in Sydney. Our recruitment and retention will be woeful, signing inconsistent or overhyped “stars” on big contracts, and getting rid of the heart and soul players. We will go back to our halcyon days of the Transit Lounge, but in this case we won’t be able to get any performance out of our new found stars because they are here for the easy paycheque and the lifestyle.
