I agree. But the nrl seems to want to give the lower level sides a fair shake of the sauce bottle. Incompetent boards and poorly managed rosters countered with favourable draws and rule changes haha

I'm already waiting for the ““closest competition in history”” line to be trotted out.

Funny how East and Manly keep getting shafted being the two teams that stayed loyal to the ARL that would of allowed News to win if they went to Super League.
The sooner we get 2 or 4 more teams in the comp and play each other once only with a 6 day minimum turn around each round the better.

Im not having a go at anyone on here in particular but the whinging & dribble from some about the draw is bordering on paranoia & just out & out un-sportsmanship.

If I actually believed that the comp was rigged or that the NRL told the refs to make sure certain teams win or any other conspiracy I wouldn't follow the League, so for me anyone on here who believes the Roosters are being bent over every year need to see a psychiatrist. The game is not rigged, it's effing hard to win a comp even when you have the best team. It's not the NRL who injure JWH & Pearce in Rd 24, the NRL never made the Roosters lose against Melbourne or Brisbane. Enjoy the game for what it is, nothing is perfect, & thank God for that.

I don't think our roster is as strong as last season so this could potentially be the difference between a top 2 finish home week 1 final, top 4 finish which gives you 2 bites at the cherry or 8th/9th and missing out completely.
