Damn, damn, damn. I've been hearing different stories about this, but it hasn't been entirely clear what's going to happen one way or the other. Oh well, I continue to dream of a Gould & warren free zone. Not having too many Friday night games probably lessens the load somewhat.

Yeah no worries. I'll go to Brisbane, North qld, NZ, Melbourne etc. I meant when I watch on tv. I go to maybe 6-10 chooks games a year. And maybe 2-3 cowboys games for the Mrs.

Disappointment is nothing new to me, so I'll survive.

Fox are claiming all their telecasts will be ad free - including the games they simulcast with 9, so it will be interesting to see how they manage that if they take the 9 coverage. Do we get a black screen during ads on Fox?

At least I won't be contributing to 9's footy ratings any more, and after all, that's what's most important to them isn't it. Actually, it means I won't be watching much on 9 at all - which can only be a good thing.

Pretty sure afl take the 7 commentary when they simulcast their games on fox, so would be the same with nrl.

Can we get rid of Gould as well. I want commentary on a game, not a bleeding lecture on what's wrong with the game, the rules, the field, the cheergirls, the refs etc etc. He just uses his position as a commentator to push his own personal agendas, and most of them don't have the interests of the game itself at heart, just his own.

Not to mention it's usually blatantly obvious in the first 5 minutes who big punter Gould has his money on - his commentary is a dead giveaway.

Vossy is definitely the best TV caller in the game, and it shows what boofheads ran 9 that he was pushed out the door to appease that hypocrite bully boy Hadley, who I refuse to suffer either on TV or radio.

If Fox take the 9 coverage, I'll be putting the Foxtel coverage on mute and listening to MMM radio coverage, as I did this season. The slight delay is worth not having to listen to those gibberers. Even better is watching Fittler and Johns gums flapping at halftime and not having to listen to it. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Vossy comes across that way but compared to what we have, he's knowledgeable and bearable.

Double standards by CH Nein. They punted Vossy to appease that egomaniac (who's TV commentary is atrocious) yet recently they chose to sweep things under the carpet by retaining Beau Ryan & idiot Johns for greater indescretions............nepotism at its finest!!!
