  • Cordner rejects contract offer from the Roosters

reported by news ltd. so who knows whether its true or not.

I'm confident we will keep him but sounds like were not getting the home team discount on this negotiation.

I know that I'd be more interested in keeping Cordner over having Sonny back.

I've heard Manly are going in big for Klemmer and Cordner.

cords is a future captain here at the club. Even potentially a NSW captain down the track.. I would lose Moa and Jenko to retain him. We must not let him slip like we did with RTS..

Must be paying in bjs because they don't have any cap space. Especially if they do get walker.

the players could start trheir own coop company? a building company, then build on a site after subbing out all the work for a block of units in which they either live or if the leave thery must sell, will be a bit hard to fit 17 penthouses in one block though? the club can pay to have them fully serviced as part of their contract payments?

If Cordner wants to stay a Rooster then I'm confident we'll keep him.

We probably offered him shit like we did with Roger.

I don't think we'll have Moa or Jenko in the side after this year but Hastings, Cordner, Liu and Aubusson must all be retained.

Our premiership window is in the process of slamming shut - if it hasn't already.

It was shut last year already until JWH decided to break through it towards the end of the season and go full beast mode on the comp. Once he got injured though the glaziers patched the window back up and we are locked out again.

History tells us we have another 8-10 years before it opens again, although we may find a cheeky way to try and squeeze through at some point before then ala the 2010 season (with devastating results)

I'm not so excited about next season. I think mentally we are shot. 2 minor prems with nothing to show for it has to hurt your state of mind.

Guerra and aubo can both be let go for cordner.

Realistically, what would be his asking price, 550k?
