Perhaps he has some habits that are not looked on favourably by the club and that we will be better off without him in the long run...

Didn't look too flash if you ask me.
You laugh at some of the things the club does yet you suggest to sign this bloke....

I think its a poor decision in the skeem of what we are holding onto. I am prepared to be wrong, however we need a good signing with the spare 400k.

the 'cheap backrower' idea has some strength imo. as others have pointed out, guys like heighington are on double 200k so your list is a little over done. the reality is that the best chance of having these sorts of players is bringing them through the system. Arona and Goodwin are the 2 we have to choose from to try and develop into that role. We will get a good idea of the capabilities of one of the two on the weekend and the other is going gang busters in the 20s and will only get better. If we do go on the open market looking for this sort of player, bringing plum back would not be a half bad move. fulton, plum, lowrie and miller are all options. Fulton and lowrie dont provide the go forward that we need from lock so plum or miller are probably the only 2 option so either of those would be a decent pick up particularly miller considering he can also play as a prop ala daniel conn. that said, i will only call that a good move if we use the additional proceeds from getting rid of myles to secure a good prop. gibbs is the best of those on the open market although we will have some competition for his signature particularly from cronulla who have had their frontrow decimated

LOL
They don't pay overs for their players.
Name me a player on that list that would be over $250K.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

I wish Nate all the best for his career with the Titans - yet another 'lifestyle' choice by the player who came to us in the first place for the same reason - lifestyle.
And if we are honest, we only see the best of Nate up to Origin time anyway. His form dropped markedly each year after Origin 3. Whether that's tiredness or injury I'm not sure.
Not that he still doesn't put in, but there's a lack of spark from the bloke in the back half of each year.
I won't pretend that I'm cut that he's leaving - I was never a fan of him being signed by the Roosters in the first place.
But he's performed better than most of our other recent imports so I give him credit where it's due and send him off with my blessing - such that it is.Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

What's the point?
