Myles, 25, said he was pleased to be returning to Queensland after seven seasons in Sydney with the Roosters (2007-11) and Bulldogs (2005-06) in which he has notched 120 NRL games as well as 14 games for Queensland and 3 Tests for Australia.

"I just felt the timing was right to return home to Queensland. I will now be living closer to family and friends who reside in South East Queensland and I know a few of the boys at the Titans which is great," said Myles

Sad to see him go. He's been the heart and soul of that pack for a while now. At least he will be closer to his family. Good luck to him.

It's disapointing to see him go, but he's just not worth the $400k he's on. Would like to see Lou Goodwin (who will be the next Dallas Johnson) from the 20's take Myles spot at lock next year, absolute workhorse he is.

          Disappointing.

Even more so if Anasta is still with us.

I'll go way out on a limb here and say whilst this is not good news for one of the highest paid forwards in the game he never gave us bang for the buck that he should off. His first season with us in 2007 was ordinary 2008 good 2009 average 2010 great and this season he only started playing great in the last month just leading into origin hmmm. Maybe the 400k Myles is on can be better spent elsewhere?

I'm looking for a silver lining here and I think I found one - Boyd Cordner and/or Lou Goodwin to be a permanent fixtures in FG next year.
And another is that it eases the second row jam at the Roosters. If I focus on these things I'll feel less gutted that Nate is now a tightun.

Myles has been consistently our best forward since he arrived here. You should try watching NRL games with your eyes open.

Forget about the release of Soward. This is the biggest **** up in the last 10 years. Good luck Nate, and go easy on us.

He may not be worth 400k a season but he offers more then Braith Anasta, this is a sad day for the club. Things have gone from bad to worse this season. How they can justify letting go one of our senior forwards baffles me. Poor decision and the management really need to give the members/fans an explanation.

                        Absolutely. Biggest loss since Mullins.

Why is it always a sad day for the club???

Players leave, they get replaced, the club moves on.

You may be sad a player leaves, but no player is bigger than the club.

Good luck nate, thanks for your service, now don't take your foot off the pedal, you still have the season to complete for the Roosters.
