anasta wont be far behind. i think there are worse things we can do then refresh the squad. im ambivalent about the myles thing like many. i like his versatility, experience and engine when he is on song but think that he could be replaced by Arona or Goodwin imo. Goodwin is tearing it up in the TYC and Arona's best position imo is lock and he would play a very similar role to myles there except has a few more strings to his bow with the ball in hand and will never command the sort of money myles is on.

At worst this allows us to pretty much keep/continue to pick up excellent young talent and also add a few fresh faces to the squad in key positions. Whilst lock has emerged as one of the most important positions in the game (paul gallen, corey parker) just as many sides seem to make do with honest toilers who get it done consistently weak in weak out without the big raps and big dollars (prior, fensom, joel edwards, luck etc).

I'm reluctant to run with so many youngsters in the side over the next 18 months. Slow and steady is usually the best with them.

If that is the case then I'm over him no matter how good he is.
For the money we were paying him, I'd target a decent fullback.

The tigers have got Blair for $500K. I know they are desperate for decent forwards but that is ridiculous.
        Correct weight.
Myles agreed to terms with G.Coast a few weeks ago when we played them up there. Despite this, i admire the way he has
put in for us over the past month.
Good luck to him, let's move on........

Can we start a petition for Myles? It unfortunately worked for Anasta!!

Part of me wants to call Myles a greedy, disloyal snake bastard but the other part of me accepts that a man takes his money for his future.

No not at all, there's something fundamentally wrong at the Roosters, we can see that by their on field performance. If he could get out now he probably would!

Why aren't we after young outside back Mills from the sharks. Despite his injuries, he looks a real
prospect. Plus he's off contract apparently.

First thing: Good Luck to Nate!!!

Second thing: WHAT THE HELL ARE THE ROOSTERS THINKING??? in the last few seasons the loyalty shown to players and staff is appauling. First it was Craig Fitzgibbon ( i dont know why they let him go), then there is the insident with Brad Fittler, i know he wasnt doing well as a coach, but the club could have done alot better in supporting a club legend instead of sacking him. There has been a stack of talent that the club has released over the years: Craig Wing, David Shillington, Nigel Plum, Jamie Soward, Shane Shackleton. The list goes on.
I am a major roosters supporter, however i am dissapointed in the way the club looks after its players and staff.

Hey no one has mentioned this but on channel 10 last night, they implied as if Nate had been granted an early release, any weight to this?

                    • I think they mean early release because he is still contracted next year..it seems he wil play out this yera with us.

Nate was great last year until he did his hip in Origin.

The last half of the season he was a passenger.

The difference in the stats is night and day.

He has had a couple of good games this season.

He is way off being worth what we are paying.

Letting him go was a good move.
Geez you talk shit. You have been given a chance to name the players, yet still come up with plenty of players on 200k that are battering rams. name the player that offers what Nate does on 200k.

I reckon he got lucky on his debut.

Didn't look too flash if you ask me.

You laugh at some of the things the club does yet you suggest to sign this bloke.
