  • Gus Gould hinting Uncle Nick might have one suprirse left for our 2016 squad

Gus has been extremely active on twitter answering fan questions and giving his opinion on many subjects.

has been hinting there is going to be a couple of massive player recruitment surprises dropping soon.

has also hinted that we may not be finished with our 2016 roster movements.

its great that Gus is engaging with fans but its dangerous when a club GM starts speculating about player movements at other clubs, especially when he is talking with some inside knowledge due to his relationship with all the major player agents.

some speculation this morning we could be joining in the Roberts sweepstakes.

Gus is good on Twitter, a lot more transparent then most people in the know and he actually is in the know.

      I really hope it's Roberts.

don't know if this was one of the things Gus was hinting at, but apparently Adam Reynolds has asked for a release from the Vermin to join the Titans

Mole just said Roberts management about to meet with Souffs. I thought he was going to Broncos but Gus keeps saying he doesn't think so.

The Daily Telegraph is now reporting this situation with Adam Reynolds. What the **** is going on over at Souffs? It wasn't that long ago that he signed a contract extension and now he wants out? It doesn't really make sense.

So Souffs can't afford Bugess. So to remedy that they're going to sign James Roberts.

                  Makes sense.

I can see Inglis heading north.

Gus has usually been spot on with his stuff. Which tells me he doesn't say things in public unless he knows its happening. Hopefully uncle Nick has a nice Xmas present for us soon - a Ben Teo/James Roberts/Jarryd Hayne would be good.

Hayne, doesn't look like it will happen - which leaves Roberts or Teo. I can't think of anyone else, unless uncle Nick has managed to get a contracted player released (Tedesco, etc).

If its Roberts/Teo, I would prefer Roberts IMO.

                      I've heard that's a done deal.

Why does everyone keep going on about Ben Teo?

We've already got a squad full of 2nd rowers.

maybe the vermin expect Tom Burgess to jump ship to the NFL, he just had his 5th trial with a NFL franchise today, that would clear up some cap room on top of Walker leaving.

I see the Broncos salary cap is back to its elastic glory days of the 90s and 2000s.
