  • Evans and Fergo named in Allstars match

will be interesting to see if Evans/Fergo end up travelling to England for the WCC Series match against St Helens which would be the week after the Allstars match.

Surely the club should be pulling Fergo from the Allstars match as it is crucial he gets live game time in the pre-season at fullback as the WCC Series match in England is our only fully fledged trial.

(coach: Wayne Bennett)

Indigenous All Stars: 1 Greg Inglis, 2 Alex Johnston, 3 Will Chambers, 4 Blake Ferguson, 5 Dane Gagai, 6 Ben Barba, 7 Johnathan Thurston (c), 8 Ryan James, 9 Nathan Peats, 10 Sam Thaiday, 11 Greg Bird, 12 Joel Thompson, 13 Chris Grevsmuhl, 14 Andrew Fifita, 15 Wade Graham, 16 Tyrone Peachey, 17 James Roberts, 18 Tyrone Roberts, 19 Ray Thompson, 20 Jack Wighton. Jack Wighton is Indigenous?

    Lachlan Maranta an all-star?

I'm not sure which is the bigger revelation.

Just as bizarre as Ben Jones' indigenous background and selection for the All Stars

        Well done Kano, well deserved.

Hopefully his confidence will lift somewhat after playing with & against such calibre.

judging by the photo's of pre-season training he has spent some serious time in the gym during his break, his arms are massive.

Congratulations? For making a team for an exhibition match? I don't get it.

No i don't get you. These games are played at a high standard by quality rep players. Even more so this year with 4 x English & NZ players invited to play.
The Indigenous boys play with great pride and take this game seriously IMO!

I'm a fan of Kane Evans but sorry I just don't see these matches as anything other than a waste of time and an opportunity for our players who are involved to suffer season ending injuries. I'm also a supporter of Indigenous Australians but still ...

It's an exhibition game, and it's not even interesting.
Mind you, I think origin has been boring for years. My interest in league begins and ends with the Roosters.

It's the way to go TCB.
After these type of games I just log on to check our boys got through unscathed.

It's actually one of the more interesting contests on paper you will get across the whole season.

Good opportunity for guys to get experience and the "foot in the door" too.

Get Russel Crow on the blower and re-sign him for triple what we had him on before we let him go, and sack the coaching staff......

And ring Ben Lexcon and say I want a yacht , twice as big and twice as fast as one I already got................that'll fark 'em.
