I don't get why people have such a hard time accepting people are indigenous because of their skin colour. People don't BS about that kinda stuff and get away with it in this kinda environment.

You don't have to look like Andrew Walker or Albert Kelly to be indigenous. Think JT... white guy with a mop of hair and a big European nose. People know their own families/heritage and that's all I need to know in order to accept their identity...

Edit: my dad was Italian... I have blonde hair (he's from the north), don't speak a word of Italian and grew up with mum so don't know a lot about the culture. I remember getting shyt3 about it in school 'oh why do you lie about being Italian? You're not dark/hairy and you don't have a Burwood accent'. WTF would I bother BS'ing about who/what my dad is? It got pretty boring listening to narrow-minded stereotypes about what my identity meant I had to be.

ism, you come across as a litigious type....well i'm not and I couldn't be bothered engaging in a tennis match with you. However, I will say that I find people's heritage interesting especially when guys like Kade Snowden are selected to represent Italy and you see Penrith's Regan Campbell-Gillard lining up for Fiji. Tyson Frizell playing for Scotland...........who would have thought?

"Think JT... white guy with a mop of hair and a big European nose"

I always thought that JT and Aiden looked a bit alike, could be long lost, third generation removed, Italian cousins, but not from the north (obviously).

I love all stars. I love the Auckland 9's. I have no qualms saying that I am a rugby league fan first and roosters fan second. I'd watch league 7 days a week and any form of it happily.

Well said. Whilst I am not a fan of this match it sickens me to see people coming out and questioning individual's indigenous backgrounds based on how black their skin is or the colour of their hair. You mother****ers are out of touch with the modern word. Racist and uneducated. Check your calendars boys. It is 2015, not 1965.

Fergo just did an interview on FSN, you can certainly tell he has dropped a few kg's to help his transition to fullback.

apparently Latrell Mitchell busted Fergo's nose at training yesterday.

not that it means much but Fergo believes Mitchell will be a starter in round 1.

                Good post ism.
One of my pet hates are attitudes which stereotype and pigeonhole what a particular person should or should not look like and if their skin isn't dark enough then they can't be indigenous etc. It misses the point completely and defines people only by the colour of their skin. So a dark skinned aborigine has a child with a red haired fair skinned freckly caucasian and the result is a fair skinned child with red hair and that child cannot identify themselves indigenous because their skin isn't dark enough?

Didn't our last fullback also bust Fergo's nose in the pre-season?

                  Mitchell confirmed for round 1.

don't know how Mitchell could be confirmed for round 1 when Burgess is yet to even report to training yet due to extended break after England/NZ series.

I still think SKD is a much better winger than centre, but other than Maubs we don't really have any other option at right centre, so I guess its between Burgess/Mitchell/Elliot for right wing spot.

I can't cop the extended break suggestion if it's accurate... if I had the talent and the side I'd signed with needed personal in any f!@#$% position I thought I could play and it would get me in a start in the side then fark the break. Are you kidding me? I hope he get's severely sunburnt if he's come out here on a holiday.

                          Mitchell is definitely confirmed.

Robbo told me in a dream. It was very lifelike.

Old age told me? Didn't know he had connections at the club.
