All I can find is one of Hodges gifting him a try and one of Hodges saying 'look I know he has been injured the whole time but this guy should play Origin if Tate and I are out'.
He's not particularly tall, fast or strong. He'd better know how to play the ball at very least? Anybody got some insight?
He is a fringe player at best and I think he drives a 1970's Datsun as well !

Question, people here have stated that Jenning's has become " On the nose " within the playing group and has also been stated elsewhere that he's been looking for an out from Bondi does anyone know what the issues are as I am really interested to know why would the club entertain the prospect of losing a player ot his calibre. He scored tries that very few players can especially chasing ingoal grubbers it's going to be a sad occasion seeing him go.

He played mostly at centre. A fringe player at best. Bennett doesn't get rid of players and then buy someone else to take his position if he was any good especially a junior

Could be injured during his whole time with us (forcing us to use somebody from Wyong or NYC) and then shunt off to a QLD-based club when he recovers.
Or... be ordinary/injured for us, and lift for QLD as soon as somebody says there's an available Origin spot for him.
IMO NSW puts too much effort into developing people who play for QLD.

Are our standards too high? We're replacing the number 1 centre in the game with a pretty good player from all accounts and probably the best one on the market atm.
And would we prefer a player of Copley's potential putting it all in or Jennings putting up tools allah SBW?
Chook

Who says Wayne is better than Robbo, POS and Nick at picking players? We got the trump card on Brisbane IMO. They will pay $500+ for an ordinary centre... forget his Dally M, he's a nobody, not a Jennings/Fergo.
We've got two Origin-grade centres both for VERY low prices, and Brisbane's even paying us to use Copley (something they will love when he fires up against them). The way I see it:
- If our coaching's any good... Fergo and Copley will both be seen as #1 picks for Origin. They have the natural talent, the onus is on Easts to take them further than any club has before.
- If our rehab and training is better than Brisbane's then Copley's bad run of injuries will be over, and we might see his full potential. Think Fergo's rehab! JWH is our only player currently injured... good training/rehab minimises injuries.
- With the money we have saved, we open the door to the possibility of some really exciting opportunities. The salary cap MUST be part of your tactics. Signing a bargain centre makes sense. Snapping up a centre for 2-3 times the price when you hadn't even planned to (forcing you to pay out the remaining 2 years of Copley's contract while he plays elsewhere) is a really dumb move. Who says the Broncos will repeat last years success and that it wasn't just a fluke, influenced by the fact the NRL wanted a fairytale for Hodges (that was upset by a fluke try and a huuuge error from Hunt). Just saying... the Broncos now have no money if things go wrong. We now have a war chest.
Edit: and uuuum who knows? Maybe SKD will be convicted and Jenko will stay?
1. Fergo
2. Toops
3. Jennings
4. Copley
5. Burgess
Could be an upgrade that also involves saving money AND fixing our FB issue? We'll see...Last edited by ism22; 01-17-2016, 10:34 AM.

Well said. Only Jenko will be gone very shortly.
