F**k off and support someone else if you are going to call the club a failure after the most dominant 3 years since the Green machine era. Some Chook fans are such ungrateful whiners - take that crap somewhere else, or at best save it for the next time we perform like the Titans of 2015.
On other issues, I actually think letting Jennings go was a very smart move. If we had kept Jennings, we would have the following situation:
*a centre as our second most expensive player - not smart management. Big money should be reserved first for halves, fullback, hooker and good forwards.
*little room to move under the cap. If people want SBW back and Hayne to be in the mix then the only option is to leave money free.
*a player who has lost passion for the club/team. This is well documented.
*a player who is getting old and will be past his prime within the next 2 years IMO
That person is entitled to their opinion without people like you thinking they are the club's biggest fan.
For the record, I don't agree with that person that we failed necessarily but the "go and support another team" line is truly pathetic.
That's my opinion. Now for you to tell me to go and support another team.

I can re-write it and say the club were not able to achieve the ultimate goal and that was to win the competition in 2014 and 2015. Sorry if putting the word "failed" got a few worked up.
I've been a fan for a very long time, no need for name calling.
I posted a link inline with clubs recruitment strategy, its an opinion and everyone has one, you should learn to co-exist with follow supports and not tell them elegantly to go somewhere else.
Thanks for the apology - i've got no doubt you are a passionate Rooster.
But looking at the last three years, I am deadset over the moon. In a competition with a salary cap designed to keep things even between all 16 teams, three minors in a row + a premiership + best for and against three years running (we have been the best attacking and defensive team in the comp for the last three years) is an incredible achievement. Additionally, we did it with most of the team having been developed within our system. If that doesn't make you satisfied, then fans from other clubs must be deadset suicidal.
On top of that, we have the greatest second rower to play the game coming back in 2017, we have the best forward pack in the comp, the most talented young fullback in our club (Latrell), potenially the best back in the comp (Fergo), 2nd best hooker in the comp behind Cam Smith, and a solid talented halves combo which has plenty of upside.
I can't fathom why anyone is unhappy, particularly those who suffered through the dark years in the early 90's and between 2005 - 2009.

He's not the only one to think we failed in the last couple of years.
Minor Premierships mean nothing in our game, absolutely zero. Anyone who has played the game at a decent level will tell you this. Some supporters like to think it's important when their team fails to cope with the pressure and go on to win the big one.

IMO I dont think we will sign any big name players for 2016. POS and Robbo have a history of waiting for the right player if they are to spend big bucks. Till then they will continue to sign older/cheaper/fringe/U20 players to provide depth. Then once a big name player becomes available they go hard with a massive war chest. That has been their style since POS and Robbo came together.
This is why I believe I dont think they will make any big name signings before 2016 starts. Robbo will still be aiming for top 4 with the current squad.
However, in regards to Copeley, he reminds me a lot of SKD. I am no great judge of talent but just in my view I am not sure if he will be as succesful as Jenko was.
The upside to Jenko signing to Parra is, Parra will now be forced to have a good year in 2016. Top 4 should be their goal with their roster. And any failures and it will be guaranteed Arthur will be out of a job, and usually with Parra its a domino effect - with one failure comes plenty of others (board rumblings, salary cap issues at the end of 2016, etc)

Last year was a failure. Not because we didn't win the comp but because we quite easily had the best roster and couldn't go on with it. Whereas a team like Melbourne may have finished a game early like us but they played out of their skin to finish where they did with their roster. Look at their forward pack compared to ours and then take slater out of their backs who was injured for the majority of the season.

The only exception to this is where the player’s original club agrees in writing that it has had ample opportunity to consider and match the offer and where it is prepared to allow the contract registration.

I agree with you , Parramatta are all in and i dont think their roster is that balanced. Kieran Foran is a great 5/8 but history of injuries and in my opinion he isn't a proven match winner - yet.
Beau Scott and Anthony Watmough are a year older and they're releasing two of their up and coming talents, its a risk for this side which i believe are 1 year away for being bad again when Michael Gordon, Beau Scott and Watmough are well into their 30's. and the focus on Interchange is shifting, i cant see them challenging (my guess).
Our backline stocks are good - Brendan Elliot, Dale Copley, Latrell Mitchell are players that can hopefully rise in 2016
