What amuses me no end the the number of people that are adamant that rumours and assumptions are fact. Then if by some miraculous convergence it comes true then they all claim messiah status. Hayne isn't def coming so don't kid yourselves. If he does end up here then that would be great (although personally I think he should honour his agreement with Parra) but there are no done deals.

We have had a great team over the last couple of years, but in 2015 I just can't cop the bullshit that we had the greatest roster in the competition. We had 4 or 6 players (playing well) but not proven stars on paper. Evans, Napa, TTK all played very well for us but they are still on the path to their potential

Fark the world must suck when so many people have different opinions to you.

Why is it bullshit? It is an opinion. We finished MP three years running. We must have close to the best roster. Tell us who had the best roster so we can update the Wikipedia page.

We most definitely had the greatest roster. Next your going to tell me rts wasn't one of the form players in the comp because it was only his first full season at fullback. Most on here will agree that our performances on the filed in 2014 were so far below what we were capable of and yet we still finished minor premiers. That Penrith game still haunts me.

Would they be given a bronco style salary cap?

Hayne does not have any binding agreement with parra. So there is nothing to honour in that sense.

We must learn to move on from players and look for the new and younger versions of SBW and Jenko. We are too busy trying to recreat the past rather then build a new successful future.
SBW brings an un-equalled amount both on and off the field. I know of several quality players who aren't presently at our club that would come to us in a heartbeat in order to play alongside him before he retires.

That would be a Catch 22 situation then - because if he comes, we definitely won't be able to afford 'em.

Not sure that you are correct there because that is what the club's plans seem to be. How they fit and who they release is beyond me.

Evans and Hastings to really step up, Burgess to score a shitload of tries finishing in the top 3-4 try scorers,SST and Fergo to devastate,Friend to recapture his 13/14 form, Napa to crack a few players ribs and have his lowest tackle counts of his career due to players running anywhere but at him!

But that's the point. You won't be able to sign these quality players if we were to sign SBW. We wouldn't have the cap space!

                            There is forward planning involved.

The Club failed in 2014-15 seasons.

Its clear we're going to go through a rebuild but definitely hit the market in 2017-18

Nothing like 2012. In 2012 we had the slowest and most inept backline in the comp. Jennings, Maloney, and RTS were part of the solution, not part of the problem.

I just watched a bit of Copley on the you tube, bit hard to judge as they don't show you the bad times. I was impressed with his positional play and has a mean offload.

Not as fast as Jennings but bigger, hopefully his lateral movement in the centre's is good enough, I just hope the lad is good defensively and a good finisher to boot. Toops better keep on his toes.

Did you watch the Roosters/Broncos preliminary final?

In a race over 10 metres Jennings would beat him by 9 metres.
