If Sonny is coming it would already be catered for.
Mate, what do you think our chances of getting Sonny are? I hope he comes but not at the expense of Cordner
As for Hayne, all you have to do is look at his latest Instagram post and it is pretty evident where his heart lies. I doubt we'll ever see him at the roosters, even if his NFL career doesn't go to plan

SBW is 100% coming in 2017 and Cordner will stay.
As for Hayne, the Jennings circus of last week is yet more evidence that we should not believe everything that is said by players, clubs or managers in the press most of the time.
I think Hastings contract will go from about 200k to 650+ this year.
Why would they upgrade him to somewhere close to what Pearce would be on? How much were we paying BBQ?
If he performs well I can see an upgrade but not by that much.
I have no idea about the figures but the bottom line is that RTS didn't really care about staying but Hastings wants to stay.
Even if Hastings a blinder of a year, he'd be lucky to double his current contract at the end of the year - he certainly won't be upping it by threefold. I think the salary cap changes will have an impact as well - aren't they meant to kick in for season 2017? That will help give some of these guys upgrades and attract others.
