I reckon they are gone this year. Halves with no running game, poor hooker, poor pack (excluding the Burgii) and bland 3/4 line with the departure of Walker and boring one-out style of play. Top that off with the mentor and coach losing the dressing room.

They are an Inglis knee injury away from finishing 14th.

If Inglis stays healthy, they might finish 9th/10th.

I might even have a cheeky bet on the spoon to be honest.

Crowe fast becoming like Caitlin Jenner - never far from a media story.
The best Crowe story for me is when Fletch drove Crowe thru a plaster wall at the old W hotel down at the Loo

They have a real problem on their hands.

The players (including Inglis) already thought it was us and them when it came to the Burgess clan.

Then they lose some of their mates to bring Sam Burgess back like some kind of messiah.

And now they all get bagged by Crowe but at the same time Tom and George are singled out for praise.

Add to that the fact that none of them can stand Maguire and it's truly a time to lol@souffs.

Now where are the people complaining that this should not be on a roosters forum?

I can't say I agree with the foolish strategy of Crowe as an owner berating his players in an open forum. But I will say Maguire doesn't suffer fools and is cleansing the club of its offal. Mate they will come out firing after being held accountable, don't kid yourself.

I think Souths have some real problems on their hands and listening to Sky Sport last night, they are saying Maguire could go this season if they don't win too many games, true the players don't like him and his type of training.

I feel sorry for Keary, he is only a young guy and a good player to be treated like that. Other clubs will want him. I don't blame him for leaving, who would cop that in front of his team mates ? Reynolds is the one who should have copped it, he played terrible all season and of course the Burgess boys are treated like god down there. Will be interesting what happens this season

Didn't Keary play most of last year with an injured knee rather than sit on the sidelines?

Keary had pain injections for an injured foot which kept him out of City Origin, he kept playing on and then he had it finally operated on. If I was Keary who is off contract at the end of the season, I would tell Souths to piss off after what happened, thats unacceptable, even though Crowe has apparently apoligised. But it sounds like it was a boozy bonding session and Crowe was probably the worst offender. Just glad Crowe didn't have a telephone in his hand ! Titans are rumored to be chasing Keary.

I think you will find Reynolds was out for 2/3 of the season with a knee and then a thumb injury. As for Keary, it's typical of Maguire's attitude towards injured players. He plays them at all costs which is the brunt of their dislike towards him. They are also wanting to get rid of Keary who is valued over $500k per season. They now have a new golden boy in Cody Walker who Ive heard is a gun of a player.
