Fletch spoke about it quite openly at a dinner at the club to farewell Fitzy. He also referred to them as 'a bunch of thieves' as he was ripped off with contract money owed and that's how he ended up playing in the UK. He was funnier than the stand up comedian they hired for the evening...quite a few of us on here were at that dinner. It was a really good evening with fans being able to sit alongside the likes of Mr Bouris..scary to believe that was 7 years ago now..

I think you will find Reynolds was out for 2/3 of the season with a knee and then a thumb injury. As for Keary, it's typical of Maguire's attitude towards injured players. He plays them at all costs which is the brunt of their dislike towards him. They are also wanting to get rid of Keary who is valued over $500k per season. They now have a new golden boy in Cody Walker who Ive heard is a gun of a player.

Keary always feigns injuries after being hit by big guys and tries playing the 'poor little me' story.

He's a whinger. Remember him starting a big heated debate about whether or not he could play for QLD before he'd even played regular 1st grade? Mate, wait until you get selected before making a big drama about it!

Its interesting to read the criticism around the place of Maguie. Seems to me he is the best thing going at the place. The problem is dickhead overachieving players that are full of themselves and an idiot owner that won't stop interfering.

The trouble is culture, they spruce about the old days but have under achieved in the modern era[ last 45 years or so] and their players all think their shit don't stink[all under Madges rein]. Maguire has tried to instil the Bellamy Cronk slater smith type of arrogance into the $ouff$ culture but it has been misconstrued by the all and has the club and players divided, The best thing is the fans have learnt to save by bringing hotdogs to games in thermos flasks..
