He was funnier than the stand up comedian they hired for the evening...quite a few of us on here were at that dinner. It was a really good evening with fans being able to sit alongside the likes of Mr Bouris..scary to believe that was 7 years ago now..
I trained Fletch when he was young.

I'm yet to meet a funnier human being.

Tony, it is because every time someone posts a disparaging post about Souths, you come rushing to their defense. I didn't see anything in the way they finished last season, let alone the way their offseason has gone to suggest they will be anywhere near a premiership.

Yeah you have to love a player who goes the eye gouge. That is pretty much the lowest act you can commit on the field. Hope he snaps an achilles.

They now have a new golden boy in Cody Walker who Ive heard is a gun of a player.
Keary always feigns injuries after being hit by big guys and tries playing the 'poor little me' story.

He's a whinger. Remember him starting a big heated debate about whether or not he could play for QLD before he'd even played regular 1st grade? Mate, wait until you get selected before making a big drama about it!

A very funny guy that I think would be very dangerous to get on the drink with. I have heard that story told by Fletcher at least 3 different times. I think its had at least 2 different locations
The other story he tells is the one about the free drinks and the sausage

His mate and business partner Bush is just as funny. Get those two out on the cans together and anything can happen.

I hated Keary from the first minute he played firsts and they started worrying about whether he was from Qld or NSW.

                  Massively overrated.

I've hated him since his dive in the 2014 Prelim led to Te'o's go ahead try.

Sterlo was balls deep in him that year. Talked him up big time.

Keary should have taken a few etiquette tips from young master Crowe:

"Dad, get out of my face!"

A group of Souths players were spotted in the office block I work in today. Luckily I don't leave my ivory tower during inclement weather during the day so I was spared the vision of them taking part in some sort of team building scavenger hunt around the city centre. Even one of my neighbours who follows them said they hope Rusty wasn't around to hurl abuse. He seems to be wearing thin on a lot of people these days...

Its interesting to read the criticism around the place of Maguie. Seems to me he is the best thing going at the place. The problem is dickhead overachieving players that are full of themselves and an idiot owner that won't stop interfering.
The players at $ouff$ have always had trouble with anyone that tries to instill some discipline.

The trouble is culture, they spruce about the old days but have under achieved in the modern era[ last 45 years or so] and their players all think their shit don't stink[all under Madges rein]. Maguire has tried to instil the Bellamy Cronk slater smith type of arrogance into the $ouff$ culture but it has been misconstrued by the all and has the club and players divided, The best thing is the fans have learnt to save by bringing hotdogs to games in thermos flasks..
