  • Mason caught urinating in public (again)

    http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/...ting-in-public

Rugby league star Willie Mason has been caught urinating in public after a drinking session at a Sydney pub on the weekend.

Mason, a former NSW and Australian representative player who plays for the Sydney Roosters, was snapped urinating on a wall outside the Golden Sheaf Hotel in Double Bay on Saturday night following his side's heavy loss to the Newcastle Knights, the Daily Telegraph reports.

The revealing photograph could not come at a worse time for the embattled code, which is still reeling from the revelations of a 2002 group sex scandal involving league personality Matthew Johns and his former team the Cronulla Sharks.

Mason confirmed the incident to the newspaper and will have a meeting with Roosters management today.

Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce said the club will check its discipline code before deciding on an appropriate punishment, but it will at least include a fine, the Telegraph reports.

"It's a silly thing for him to do — I know Willie is disappointed by his actions," Mr Noyce reportedly said.

It is not the first time this season Mason has been in trouble.

The burly forward was stood down along with Queensland Origin forward Nate Myles for breaking the club's alcohol policy in March.
sooner we get rid of him the better

    In the DT online section:

"He can take a leak on New South Head Road for all this column cares"

Seems that the paper DOES card by putting his picture in the paper.

Complete stupidity exactly fitting of Mason..

My main concern is he really does not seem to care when on the field.. After an opposition player makes a break he just jogs back in his chase and their is a real lack of effort.. I do not know if this is still due to the knee..

The players are free to live their lives but the fact that hes out right after the match drinking and socialising gives me the impression they really don't care..

The other thing that bugged me after the match were most of our players smiling and laughing when shaking hands with the opposition, once again it doesnt give us the impression that they are affected by what was an embarrassing performance..

Aside from the timing being bad, so friggin what if a footballer urinates on a wall somewhere. I think I'd be hard pressed to find any guy I know who hasn't done it before - only difference being they're not NRL players.

It's not like he walked down the street waggling his 'little willy' at everyone.

I know the timing is what makes it worse, and he should have known now is not the time to do even the slightest thing wrong, but I'm really over the media picking out the silliest little things these blokes do and turning it into something bigger.

It pleases me enormously that somebody else noticed this anomaly.
After that pathetic pea-hearted performance a smile and laughter didn't escape my face for a while unfortunately. It left me in no doubt that the majority of these players don't give a damn how bad they are so why should I give a damn. In fact, I am so mad I have put aside some time today to ring the club and register my disgust.

It did not go unnoticed for me either...

I too will be voicing my disgust today..

Seeing Sa laughing at full time was a disgrace, "Ha ha ha Cooper you skinned me 5 times out there today ha ha ha"

My girls under 10 soccer team are more upset after a loss than this mob of Roosters...

              Cracking pic LR...

Yep, Sa was the worst offender PtB and for mine that speaks volumes about his lack of competitiveness and pride in the jersey he is privileged to wear.

I had to change the pic PtB because Megan Fox (phwoar ) brings a smile to my face (unlike the Roosters)!

                        LOL!
Very much looking forward to the next instalment of Transformers just for her presence.

And yes Muzz, the Roosters DO need a change and it should start now. After all, one definition of insanity is to keep on doing the same things expecting different results.
