It is Joey Manu that excites me the most I believe he will be a very very good player and possibly even better than that. As long as he works hard and is developed accordingly by our club he has loads of potential.

Wasn't really impressed by much in that video, just fell over the line for most of the tries, and very bad defence for the other ones. Most highlight videos that are impressive, but amount to nothing, hopefully this one does the opposite.

He's still a little fragile but has great skill and vision.

I have watched plenty of his games in the 20s and he has a lot of problems with his defence, he can't tackle and catching bombs as well as Johnny TS

I haven't seen much of him as only went to the back end of a few u20 games last year. However, watching the Latrell Mitchell video made me realise what a outstanding talent Manu is in attack. I imagine there would be some handling issues considering his age as he has a great offload on him. If his defensive game and ability to read the game are or get up to scratch he could be a regular 1st grader (maybe even better) one day.

Like most U20s players, his defence is ordinary.

why is it so hard to find solid defensive based players in the modern age in the u20's system. To me i find nothing better than a hard head who can defend really well. Jake Trbojevic comes to mind

20 is an attacking game. trying to score of every play. while seniors is more , get to the 5th and defend, regather then score

                      His ball skills are SBWesque.

Here's the big man himself. Has talent but won't be anything if he stays that size.

Where does this guy find the footage for this stuff?

Like some one else said, A more physical comp will make or break him. Hope he kills it @ Wyong over the next 2 seasons and gets a couple of First grade games under his belt in the process..

Pretty crap highlight package of Joey Manu, his strength isn't his ability to score tries it's his ability to create tries for others.

It's exciting because there's very few centres in the game anymore who are creators.
