He's gone. There is no way the Club will allow him to represent them again. He'll be sacked tomorrow for sure, perhaps as early as tonight.

Dare I say it but in the long run this may be a blessing. 2016 will be tough though. But if Nikorima is the superstar that everyone in the know expects then we could have a gun halves pairing by 2017.
What a crucial signing that turned out to be. Oh to go back in time and keep Maloney instead of Pearce.

I have never said a bad thing about Pearce and I am of the opinion that players should be able to have a drink and some fun.
I have seen the video and my opinion has changed.
I didn't see him urinate on anything, his pants were on the entire time, he picks up a little dog and pretends to have sex with it "big ****ing deal" He kissed a girl, she didn't seem to be pissed off by his advance but she did push him away.
The problem is:
this is not his first offence
he is way to intoxicated
he is our club captain
he has not matured and taken his role as captain seriously
If he was serious about his career and wanting to improve then this is not how you go about it
how can you expect to be an elite athlete and get this smashed
I think the club will release him and in my opinion that would be reasonable.
Its not the 80s or 90s players have to realise that everyone has a camera and will use it.
It is going to be a difficult year.
I am sick of off field drama!

I can't see the club sacking Pearce. A big fine, suspension (from the NRL integrity unit) and loss of captaincy.

I haven't had a night like that in a few weeks.
After watching the clip I don't think he'll be sacked. I can see a 6 month suspension or even a season in England but I don't think he will be sacked. Particularly as Carney is looking likely to being successful in his lawsuit for wrongful dismissal. The club will want to be very mindful how it approaches this. Who knows though, maybe the club didn't see him as a long term player and will use this as an excuse to move him on.
