So I've just seen the footage and not to downplay his behaviour towards the woman, which was unacceptable, but she had a clearly visible smirk on her face when he kissed her.

I guess my point is, although it was inappropriate, I would hate to see that portion of the incident blown out of proportion with some idiots calling it sexual assault.

He didn't do anything criminal. BUT he did do a huge disservice to the club he co-captains. He's supposed to lead by example and promote the club in a positive light. Instead he's clearly just a pisshead.

Hence I have no issue if the club sack him. Likewise given he didn't do anything criminal I wouldn't be surprised if he was just stripped of the captaincy, fined a significant amount and suspended for a month of the regular season.

Personally I'd prefer the former given the repeated embarrassment he has caused the club.

He is a repeat offender and clearly has problems with his attitude towards women whilst on the drink. And I doubt he will stop drinking.

The clubs credibility and reputation is at stake here. They cant excuse the inexcusable, especially from their captain. And ill be disappointed in Robbo if he even tries to defend the bloke.

Cut him loose and make it clear to the squad the can follow if they want to indulge in any unsavoury behavior. Time to draw a line in the sand about the standards the club expects from its players.
