Im Tired Of Our Fans Trashing Our Club

Hey All

Like all of you i am very dissapointed on how our season is turning out.

But what i want to discuss is this sudden turn on the club, Calling our club a joke,shit etc. I came to this forum for a few reasons, 1 of those reasons was i was tired of Rugby League Forums, Cos most people would trash our club, Now our own fans are trashing it, its is more dissapointing to see our fans drag our club through mud then it is seeing our team play bad. Our club is considered "a joke" mostly cos of our fans, We will talk trash about our team just as fast as we would cheer for them.


There are clubs out there that are doing worse then us Money wise, member wise and future wise, yet there fans stand by them.

yes im pissed at the season, But im not going to go ahead and say our clubs a joke, Im a Red White And Bluester and im going to support the Roosters till i die, in the good times and the bad times.

God help us if our club was kicked from the comp cos our fans wouldnt lift a finger to get it back. its sad.

Love your spirit roosterman but I am tired of seeing our players trash our club, particularly Captain Dogshit the media whore. It hurts all of us and I guess we all deal with it differently. Some fans have already admitted defeat tomorrow. I won't go that far yet. If we can some how win a couple of games the mood will turn. Sadly that is a big "if" at the moment.

I see your point, But its one thing trashing a team for under performing and a totally different thing trashing the CLUB.

if your theory is correct then we should be trying to find the source of the problem.


Instead people resort to, "Our club is a joke" "**** the Roosters" "We Are Shit" "Sack Smith" "Sack Politis" "Sack Him" "Sack Her" Sack Them" "sack everyone"

that isnt helping the situation, to me everyone is just randomly pointing the finger at anyone. Then People are pojnting the finger at guys like Jake Friend and Pearce and say they are the problem, when clearly they are not.

I dont mind logical arguements but when its just pointless hate directed at random players and the club thats what upsets me.

I feel the pain too... Souffs fans for example are used to losing. I remember last year when we beat them for the second time (and basically ended their season) they were still respectful towards their club. Sad, yes... disappointed, yes... but they didn't hang around acting like carnts and yelling abuse at their players/coach/russ.

Granted Souffs are cr@p and there isn't much to respect about them, why can't we do the same? What disappoints me more is that fans get blinded by RESULTS as well.

Last week we botched about a million try situations, largely due to that bloody fullback who did some real crackers. Hate him, not our boys!!!! I think if half the guys put the energy that they put into hating our boys into hating the opposition, we would be better off.

We are a joke because at games our fans bash our club. This must stop...
