shouldn't be that way but the younger guys certainly outplayed the more experienced ones over the course of the 3 games.

Omar/SKD/Toups really struggled, Cornish has been in the system for a while and didn't do to much.

the 9's format doesn't really suit Henderson/Vunakece but its a concern that they may be called on early in the NRL season.

We could have done something in this comp if it wasn't for a couple of brain explosions from the usual suspects. What a shame.

I thought we did fantastically well considering we didn't even try to win... and yes SKDs offside was as bad as his shocker in the prelim final. Thankfully not as important.

It's a shame because it would have been amazing for us and those kids to go deep into the comp.

To be let down so badly by Toups and SKD is very poor. Not good enough actually. And, as we know, that kind of stuff is not limited to Nines from them. With the players gone we really need them to stand up this season. Talk about building your house on (quick)sand.

Get used to looking for any positive we can this year. It will be slim pickings.

He's atrocious.

You would have to think a massively-underdone Mitchell would get the call up before him.

not that it really matters but its disappointing knowing we spanked one semi finalist the Storm and lost on the only restart penalty in the whole tournament to the Eels who just made the final.

although we certainly got what we wanted out of the tournament it would have been great to see our youngsters play a few more games.

We finished ahead of the vermin in our pool so that equates to a success.

SKD and Toops were two of our most senior players yet played like rookies, they both need rockets.

Manu was by far the most impressive along with Mitchell, both are future stars.\

What I wouldn't give to snare Brice Cartwright, that kid has some serious skills.

Cartwright is almost a white SBW.

He really does have unlimited potential and I too would do anything to see him in a Roosters jersey.
