Sounds about right, about 8 weeks minimum for dry humping a dog and falsely impersonating 2 groups of society. Also no leadership role on or off the field.

Play him off the bench as a back up hooker and no. 13 (tell him he has to play like Dallas Johnson).

That way he can be cover if the baby halves go pear shaped or bust a shoulder, and no one can whinge that he walks straight back into the side.

Also enables Maubs to play in the backrow.

I'm sure that's the plan, but Nikorima in particular will need time to develop. If he is put in the firing line earlier than expected, it will accelerate his development, but I expect that the instant gratification addicts on the Chookpen will demand his immediate crucifixion the first time he makes a mistake.

Although I would like to see us perform respectably in 2016, I will be happy to watch the next generation learn the ropes.

After the arrests of Holmes and Kouroisau? we should tell the NRL to butt out. Any decision we come to should be ours alone without any external interference.

Personally, I'd keep him. He's been a farkwit, but who hasn't at one time or another? Theres no law against it. Keeping him gives us plenty of bargaining power next time his contract negotiations come around. Plus, when he does get back into the squad, he owes us. Big time.

People suggesting we play a combo of Hastings and Nikorima have written this season off, imo. We have a bloke who's played there 6 times at the most, and a bloke who's yet to make his first grade debut.

Go through the correct procedures with Pearce, stripped of the captaincy, heavy fine, written warning etc, and bring him back. Fark what everyone else thinks..

The whole thing has now become a farce This should have been dealt with Until a decion has been made on Pearces future within the club then I will not be renewing either mine or my Daughters season tickets

You can't blame the NRL for any delay in a decision when it is Pearce who went overseas and is currently uncontactable so they can't get his version of events. Which they need to do before any decision is made.

No external interference? You're kidding me - all NRL clubs have shown in the past they can't be trusted to put the players and the game's welfare before their own. The only reason they make a decent effort now is because if they don't the NRL will simply overrule them.

There is no rush needed on the Pearce decision, I doubt the bloke is mentally or physically capable of focussing on footy for a while yet. I doubt we'll see much of him before mid season.

I don't understand this at all. I trust the club to make the right decision and respect that they want to give a young man the best chance to get his life in order. I don't see how you could consider not renewing a membership over it.

I don't think pearce will have a long term future with our club after this. There are a lot of people very unhappy with his behaviour.

True but even many of them have had enough.

With Carney suing the Sharks for 3 Million dollars it has opened up a big can of worms over wrongful dismissal and whether the club has a case for dismissal via his embarrassment of the club, you would think there would be clauses in his contract that give the club an out but you never know, if not then I would say not. As he hasn't broken any laws that we know of as yet I can't see the NRL Integrity unit being able to do a real lot either. As much as i would like to see him gone i just don't think it's going to happen or the club would have already did so. But in saying that I would imagine that this is his final contract with the club IMO.

]I agree with your point of the Club doing the best by him,my main issue is Pearce is a repeat offender..
It is starting to smell like a player thinking he is bigger than the Club and taking full advantage!
We are a proud Club and shouldn't put up with continuous indescretions by the same player, especially an average footballer at that!

If he is not sacked playing the season with Wyong with small crowds, cold showers, rough as guts fields should be where he is, let him realise what he had and what he has literally pissed away, if he doesnt play or put in, see you later, if he does have a crack, cleans himself up, maybe dangle the carrot of a return
