Wigan coach Brian Noble has been linked with a move to the Roosters for next season.

The former Bradford and Great Britain boss is out of contract at Wigan at the end of the season and, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, has been earmarked to work with current coach Brad Fittler in a bid to turn around the club's ailing fortunes.

Noble has in the past made no secret of his desire to coach in Australia's National Rugby League.

The Roosters are second from bottom of the table after losing seven of their first 10 matches and Fittler admits the club is facing some 'tough decisions'.

"You would like another go because I enjoy coaching," he told the Herald. "I can see a good future at the club."

"There's going to be some tough decisions and players have to jump on board. Some things have to change."

Former Wigan scrum half Adrian Lam, currently technical director at the Roosters, has been touted as a possible successor to Noble at the JJB Stadium.
