Didn't Guerra sign with an English team? Pretty sure he did.

Yeah I read your earlier post.

Very interesting stat isn't it? I heard Cordner put in a big game for Newtown on Saturday. Hopefully he can kick on.

This is the only non-NRL information on Wikipedia.

In 2011 he was announced as a member of the Italian side that will compete in the 2013 World Cup qualifying.

Heaps of talk that Boyd is going back to Newcastle but I am not convinced.. The logic to playing him for Newtown is to better groom him for NRL.. Up until the weekend apparently he has not impressed much but given his injuries, he deserves plenty of slack.. Would not surprise with our injury list for him to get some time off the bench in the not too distant future... Perhaps the club see Boyd to replace Myles in the long term..

            Guerra...re-sign him.

His running style reminds me a little of Salvatori.

That's not all they have in common......they both have Italian bloodlines

Yeah he said the same thing in today's article. It was dumb yesterday, dunno why he felt he needed to repeat himself.

Geurra was solid, but he was when he first burst onto the scene begginning 2010. Here's hoping he can mantain the rage this time around.

It's been posted by numerous people over on the wall but I don't buy it.

JWH kept dropping it and doing dumb things like playing it incorrectly though... we were lucky that we didn't really pay for those mistakes because we all defended well and were able to bring the ball inside their 30 at the end of most sets regardless of where they started.

I have little faith in this lanky white guy who thinks he's SBW.

I thought Guerra missed the second half of 2010 with a leg injury.

Yeah he did, from round 9 or 10 I think. Up to then he looked the goods.

Yeah he had Compartment syndrome in his calves.
It's a nasty thing, read up on it. Compartment Syndrome wiki page

Considering Aiden has also previously had 3 ankle fractures in the past, he is one determined man to get back out playing again !

I hope Smith has Guerra in the run-on side as opposed to warming the bench. In last years opening rounds it was no coincidence he was playing solid by starting the game and getting heavily involved in the opening exchanges. It seemed to me that once Smith relegated him to the bench Guerra's form dropped a few notches and he then unfortunately suffered injury.

Come to think of it, based on JWH performance last weekend, he too plays a lot better when he commences the game. He loves to get stuck into the opposition and assert himself.

Heaven help us if we awarding encouragement awards to a 10 year veteran.

                                Smith loves the little guy.
                                Guerra will be his protege.

What will make all of us sick is the way Myles plays tomorrow night.
Do not forget that the club stood by him during the poo incident
