They were touting the Sharks match, then the knights, obviously that didn't happen, if the roosters previous history with injury time frames is anything to go by, TWO WEEKS !

Hopefully he returns sooner rather than later !

              i wonder the same.

He is one of those players who is very under rated. He is not the flash and sparkles of other players, but he is one player that you can rely on to do the dirty work, to clean up the scraps, in both attack and defence. I guess that means because he isn't all flash and sparkles, his errors are highlighted when they occur.

He is a great ambasador for the team both on and off the field.

He's no chance for this week, hopefully the week after. Doc is being cautious.

Not with the crap wingers that we have in first grade.

Sam could do with the hit out. But what about that try Naughton butchered in the opening minutes? JCarn positioned himself outside and all he had to do was draw and pass and JCarn would have used his chunky legs and driven home in the corner through his marker. But Naughton hogged it and then threw a stupid forward pass to ground. That was a dumb play. But he wasnt too bad considering the makeup of the team. SKD's missed tackle was far worse when he allowed Newcastle back in.

I dont know how the **** Skid got the 3 Dally M points.

Sammy may not be the fastest or flashiest winger around but I think his abscence has show just how valuable a player he is. It will be great to have him back in the team.

He can't come back soon enough.

Earlier this season I was highly critical of his hands and pace.

But by Christ we miss him out of dummy half.

I actually think Naughton is OK. He looks like he has a footy brain which is rare for wingers these days.

We really need another left centre. Justin Carney was a turnstile out there.

Can't see why he and Leilua can't swap positions.

Just to top everyone, I spoke to him before the game yesterday in the Members Cafe...had a nice chat to him and Cherro.

                              Sammy's 2 weeks away.
