  • Ryles to play on in 2012

    http://www.sportsnewsfirst.com.au/ar...-will-play-on/

He seems to be more of a passenger these days. I'd rather Kennedy, JWH, Tasi and Masoe take on our prop roles with maybe Ryles as depth but he won't play for Newtown so a wasted spot for mine.

I can live with that tbh, his play the balls are slow and he isnt as good as he used to be but at times he seems like the only prop who penetrates the line

If I remember yesterday's game, he replaced JWH after a stuff up.

He brings experience, which is needed with Brian's Babes.

Gee I thought he looked sore out on the field yesterday. Can't believe he thinks he is up for another year.

Ryles...re-sign him, we need his experience...until the end of next year.

Rebuilding a team is not an overnight task.

I have always been a bit of Ryles supporter though...

with all the hardasses running around in the comp with a passing game and some speed and not giving away penalties is he really our best bet?

He's a much maligned player....some times the criticism is warranted but on other occassions its harsh. He's defensively very agile for a big man, much moreso than guys like Mose and he brings that experience to the team. I don't think its such a bad thing that he stays on for another year. He won't cost too much and can help with the development of our forwards, particularly now that Myles is confirmed as leaving.

He's past his best, no point wasting cap on him.

                          Chook.

I can't imagine we are paying him big money.
