Didn't we also pick up a young, big, half from the Parra 20's?

If Henderson is anywhere near this team we have a lot to be worried about.

Why you kick my halfback and call him injured?

                  There's no legit alternative.
Hastings #6... as was always planned, with Pearce playing halfback?

I fancy Hastings at Halfback .more than 5/8th ..but thats me .

Same same, to me he is an out and out halfback. I would prefer someone with more of a running game to compliment his playmaking skills. Perhaps either Nikorima or Connor Watson can become that player.

Looks like it is decided.. Niko it is!

"The Roosters are yet to name thier side for the World Club Series game at Langtree Park, but have confirmed Jackson Hastings, 20, and Nikorima will be scrum-base partners."

                          I agree
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.

                            Looks like it's Nikorima.

Cant wait to see how he goes , lets hope he doesn't take long to make his mark and we are all impressed

After the last few months young fans need a hero!!!

Let's give him 200 games to see if he can take control of a match.

This is probably the most excited I have been before the start of a season for many years. The reason being that there is no expectation and a great unknown in how our side will go this year.

I'm happy to see a new halves pairing and I think that Nikorima and Hastings will form a good partnership, as both are genuine play makers.

I hope nikorima plays 6 and not Hastings as I see hastings as a genuine halfback who should control the team.

                                Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"
