I was guessing either a Pearce update or a new scandal.

Thank God. My heart had sunk hearing it initially. Was hoping it wasn't more of the Pearce rumours doing the rounds on the lurkers page. Not that he's ever had an accurate post in his life.

          Greg bird.

          Chasing him for this year.

Should fit in well with our recent events.

Problem is he won't sign a one year contract. And he won't be cheap.

He is 32 this year, is he really worth that much? Maybe titans pick up some of the bill.

Why the **** would the titans pay us to take one of their only rep players? They aren't cutting him. He's having a sook he wasn't made captain and wants out. Being an origin player, he'll command money. We could use him for a season but we don't need another agro, suspension prone player long term. If he comes I'd like to know what the plan is for next season. Buying bird means we'd be letting someone go or not signing sonny.

I would say one year or nothing to him. If he is worth an extra season let him earn it. Seems like bullshit though.

Pretty sure he has two years on his current titans contract. Whatever he would get for a year with us wouldn't be close to a year let alone two with them. As you said I'm sure it's a beat up anyway.

He would provide experience, unless he is out for Origin or Suspension. lets see how it unfolds. After all, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. hehe what ever that means

He can wear 6. He can't play 6.
