  • Why admit to throwing the phone?
Surely SKDs defence team could have produced plenty of video evidence showing his susceptibility to dropping things.

I'd say it'll be a match race. I do have work to consider. I'd bet on the day of the verdict being the day I finish reading it, just to be sure.

And thanks for the snuggles Axeman.

      • If closing arguments are happening now does that mean a judgement will be made today?

          Will depend on the Magistrate.

Pure coincidence I'm sure that both events will reach their conclusion simultaneously.

You are welcome re the snuggles

SKD's passing game doesn't always produce the desired results could have also been a defense.

If the hearing was listed for 3 days as has been mentioned on here then more than likely yes.

However, if Magistrate wants to get away early for the weekend and the Barristers have an urgent payment for a lease on a yatch, hobby farm or plane needed to be made....then maybe next week.

                    • couldn't see a ruling today the magistrate will go away and consider all the evidence presented.

with what has been revealed you can unfortunately make a case of intimidation against SKD simply from his admission of throwing the phone/punching the wall/grabbing her arm.

its up to the magistrate to decide whether these actions deserve a conviction or whether he believes SKD's account of events and his actions were justifiable.

What wasn't mentioned was that he was intending on throwing the phone to RTS who was on the other side of the room, however Darius Boyd appeared out of nowhere to catch it.

If there is a conviction for that, given the evidence as I understand it, it will have been a case of 'he's a rugby league footballer, and as such he is a yobbo – let's convict".

I have no doubt the judge is a private school boy and is probably a Union guy. Let's see.
