    Already felt sorry for SKD.!
He wouldn't know how to deal with time in lockdown.
Even two hours seems a bit overboard for a rookie.

Are you trolling now or what? You previously said they can do whatever drugs they want in the off-season. It all counts. There are no free passes.

That's something I never thought I'd type in response to you.

Deleted it rather than be lazy to make people go back a page if they skipped over it.
Well , that and the fact this thread is so long.
            Um, thanks?

No I agree that mid season the players should be 100% committed to their training and recovery. In the off season I think they should let their hair down and relax and blown off steam. I'm not saying get on the nod weekly but a few beers and whatever else every now and then isn't going to kill them. It's unrealistic to expect them to be drug and alcohol free in such a high pressure and highly scrutinised job. But I think if they can do it for 8-9 months a year then that's enough for me.

              • If they held him for over two hours without lettimg him call counsel then they have breached his rights , i think it is a section 9 or something similar.

Absolutely true, had this confirmed by a friend of the family.
The bit about the female cops going balistic are also 100% true

                    • Bennett bagged our finals prep - self imposed alcohol ban.

                      The rest is history.

A smashed phone and picture frame.

Testimony by a proven attempted extortionist and concocter of false domestic abuse allegations against a previous partner (whom she assaulted, and whom the judge in that case praised for not hitting her back).

The defendant enduring 6 months of condemnation and public vilification by a bloodthirsty press, the Premier of NSW and every political agenda group under the sun.

The Prosecution's only hope of conviction (and always was) is that the judge is fearful of being seen as silently supporting DV and discouraging victims making police reports, should he do the right thing and throw this wretched case in the toilet where it belongs (along with Ms Peris)
The thing that sticks out to me is that the image presented by her is not her reality. A meek, distressed, innocent, afraid, broke, helpful housewife, who regularly bullies the boyfriend on text, defrauds centrelink, evades tax, poses provocatively on instagram, in a constant stream of new products provided by aforementioned boyfriend, shows no hesitation in confronting employees of her boyfriends employment, seemingly a previous victim in DV showing no signs of responsibility in a relationship financially or emotionally, bringing nothing to the table, everything to gain, the hand is always out to take take take, and when that is challenged, you get both barrels.
Going into a bathroom to lock the door gives him control for a few minutes. If the picture she is painting is true, he wouldn't need to get away from her. She'd be over there on her eggshells while he keeps yanno.. being controlling 24/7. It's not adding up for me.

Will the Judge be fearful of silently supporting DV.. or is it more problematic to support the psychological games of entitlement this woman seemingly carries around with her. You can have toxic immature dramatic relationships without "I'll make the bastard pay, in court!".

                        • The "battered" housewife is being redefined isn't it?

                          We need a new title.....

                          The athletically " flattered" housewife
                          The emotionally " scattered" housewife
                          The money " mattered" housewife

Poor SKD, his reputation is in tatters.
                          barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!
