  • A poll on Pearce

After the upcoming interviews and conference with Pearce we will have more clarity of what will happen.

I know this has been all over recent topics.

Just thought I'd make a poll.

I am voting play after punishment. The way I see it is he didn't do anything illegal, we all make mistakes, the yellow dress thing was just as stupid. Overhyped media bull****.
Though punishment is necessary as it still does make us look bad and undisciplined and that's what will make most NRL fans happy, because it also gives them and the game as a whole a not so pretty image.

As for the degree of punishment, I will agree with whatever the Roosters decide.

    Where do you stand?

    Play for Wyong this Sunday.

Holmes was arrested and charged. His punishment was to sit out the 9s and will play round 1.

I know! Time and time again. It's complete bull. If it was up to me, it wouldn't have even made it to the news.

I'm not going to vote. I've wasted enough of my precious time on that jackass.

          Just vote already.

Apparently he's been training and is raring to go.

Waiting for a few weeks to decide may be the best option. Just to see how SoH and Niko can cope with the NRL pressure. We play Souffs Raiders Cowboys and Sea Eagles in the first month. That should be a good indication of where our halves are at and if they can cope for the full season.

I think that if Pearce was to return, things would definitely not be the same. He certainly would not command the same respect as he did before regardless of what his teammates have said about him and a move to a new club may be the best for both parties. That being said, if the young halves combo doesn't really work out we may need him. The early signs from SoH and Niko are good though.
              Comment of the year:

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

If that is truly the case, then he probably hasn't leaned a damn thing from all of this!

hope he gets his life back on track, but would be happy if his football career continues at another club.

Show him the door and let's move on from the myth, he's caused enough embarrassment for the club during his illustrious career.

The Holmes case will be the sole thing that saves Pearce's career... How can the NRL accept that punishment as the police were involved and formal charges laid? All Pearce did was make an idiot of himself in which the police did not get involved....

Fair punishment - be humiliated on national tv, miss nines, go to rehab for a month, continue some kind of rehab for the rest of the year, lose captaincy, $50 000 fine, no pretend sex with animals for twleve months, miss one game.
