  • Make a play for Tony Williams

Bulldogs are desperate to release him... Has not been able to excel under Hasler like he did under Toovey. Has not been directed around the park by a decent working halves pairing, why would we not not to pick him up now for half the price? Use his experience and add his size under our forward pack, and also you never know he may get back to his best under Robbo....

I think we should look into it as I have faith in our forwards but it would be interesting seeing him been directed and running off Pearce, Hastings and Nikorima....

I don't think he excelled under Toovey either. He is lazy. Another Guy who thinks coz he has size , he is a blessing for a football team. A guy called Dave Taylor thought the same.

    Give me Maubs anytime.

Not a fan Nathan. Low work rate. Even if Dulldogs pay a significant percentage of his wages, he is not value

Bulldogs don't play a in a structure which is why I reckon he has been old news..... Coming off the bench in the meantime with size and all, you never know there would be not so much pressure for him to perform. Taylor however was always in the headlines for the wrong reasons at least we know this bloke has stayed out of those headlines.

His value has dropped further because of the reduction in the number of interchanges, so it's a no thanks from me!

If we wanted a big fat lazy Polynesian forward we could have kept Mose Masoe or FPN. Pass. Williams is a myth.

After the reduced interchange rue a big NO to that. Very Lazy and not very defensive minded.

The dogs have been trying to offload him for 18 months. The fact that there have been no takers should tell you everything you need to know.

He had one good year - 2011 or 2012 (I Think) - I had him in my supercoach team - killed it but has done nothing since
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
                  It's called experience.

I think you will find that hasler coached him at manly and then poached him for the dogs.

If we want an over-rated wannabe halfback then we should just stick with Pearce. Sonny-bill is the one and only Williams that we should chase.

Shaun Lane is better to chase for next yr. And we need a experienced fullback, hayne or holmes
