like it or not our whole season could hinge on snagging a few unexpected wins in the first 2 months of the season before JWH/Cordner/Pearce return around round 9

the first two months look like this

Vermin at home
Raiders away
Cowboys away
Sea Eagles home
Warriors home
Vermin away
Panthers home
Dragons away game at Allianz on Anzac day

3 wins would be the minimum you would deem acceptable if you hope to make the finals.

I actually like our chances on sunday against the Vermin.

rounds 2 and 3 are going to be tough, the Raiders are going to be a lot better than many think and might actually have the best bench in the NRL currently with all the injuries.

Warriors are going to be a hard team to predict when they are on they will belt teams but at times they will also look horrible.

would be disappointed if we can't beat the Panthers/Dragons at Allianz.

Best forwards in the comp, a pretty good backline and a real halfback who is the son of another very, very good halfback. And a coach who, barring a few mistakes of misguided loyalty, is second to none.

Very tough opening draw. Really looking forward to it. Also looking forward to making my first trek to GIO stadium next week to watch the boys. I think we'll aim to at least knock off the dragons and souths twice. Anything more would be a bonus. I have the raiders as top 4 this year.

We started 3-5 last year
And finished 15-1 !!!

I'd snap someone's hand off if they offered us a 4-4 start. 5-3 and I'm on cloud nine.
