    Not ridiculous at all.
I agree with everything you've said and haven't said anything to the contrary. In the context of the original post though we're talking about whether we would call them an imported player or a player we developed. I don't think acquiring players like JWH or Guerra or copely can count as developed players but are imported. They've played league or union or whatever else for 20 years and have often played a handful of games elsewhere. Whether they develop better once they're with us than they would at another club, I'd like to think so. I'd like to think we have the best talent identification, strength and conditioning as well as coaching staff in the nrl.

      Sigh.
Guerra fits the guidelines established in the first post.
JWH wasn't named in the big league and Copely counted as one of the imports.
I know you love to labour a point just for the sake of it, but I think you're missing the object of the thread anyway.
      I'm trying to destroy stereotypes.
Maybe the last line of the first post was slightly off topic, but I believe it to be true.

Pity the plane hasn't landed yet, or you'd have a lot more to worry about than being pedantic.

And because the players the players you listed are below average nuffies who could only get the job done once Inglis and the burgess clan came across. Despite constant boasting of your grass roots jrs program, the best souths players were all bought.

Musgrove is in the top 17 for Souths this week.

Reynolds has never been shopped around, media BS, him and his entire family bleed red and green.

McQueen was not a Souths junior, he is a Queenslander.

The Nuffies you mention are premiership winning nuffies.

The facts remain that Souths have around 50% of their squad as local juniors while the Roosters have zero, even Jackson Hastings is from the Illawarra.

Shrewd recruitment is everything whether that be of established first graders or potential up and comers.

Before POS we has the great Arthur Beetson .
He made kids from up here wanna play for the Roosters without saying anything.

Yeah, Kevin moved down there to coach.
But Jackson wanted to play for his dad's club.
If any of your souffs juniors ask George Piggins where to play, he'll tell them anywhere but that team the hollywood actor owns.

Killer stats. I think we will see a few more players make their debut this season too, looking forward to seeing burgess and some of the young backs through the year.
