  • Anasta against knights

Just watched the game again. What a great game he had. No question, had he not been on the field it would have been another loss for us. A couple of mistakes but great otherwise. I guess it is a problem for us that his best position is 5/8.

That's like saying my best position in the Australian cricket team would be slips.

I can't run, can't throw too hard but I have reasonable hands.

Oh my god, I am Braith Anasta!

The position isnt the problem with him. His heart is.
he needs to bang more biker moles.

I still think he would do OK at lock, not second row.

Give him the freedom of running the ball and doing the odd bit of ball playing.

Myles or FPN are not locks. They are second rowers.

That's the thing he is a traditional lock but that position isn't used anymore.

These days the lock is just pretty much just another prop.

It seems to me that players over the age of 25 who haven't adapted to the changes over the last five years are being left behind.

That's why players like Orford and Anasta are looking out of place and ineffectual and players like Lockyer and Thurston have got better.

A long bow but then I like to test the tensile strength of statements.

I can't get everything right. My hypothesis was not valid.
