lol what a stupid statement, you can absolutely put some blame on Pearce, it was his actions that meant we had to field the least experienced pair of halves to start an NRL season in something like 20yrs, his actions meant the team had to completely restructure all the work they had done in the pre-season, he certainly is not without blame for the ultimate result today.

No you can't. The people that wanted Mitchell Pearce gone have got what they wanted and we had absolutely no direction at all today which was supported by a woeful kicking game. People were saying ridiculous stuff like Nikorima is better than Pearce ever was and they were all proven wrong. We will be very lucky to not be sitting last when Mitchell Pearce returns.

Don't confuse them with concepts such as direction, defensive kicking, and field position. These people only understand tries.

I agree that the Dubai/UK experiment has been an abject failure. How about our 2013 preparation where we played good competitive trials against the like of Manly and Wests in the lead up to the opening round. This year we had a junket overseas with a trial against a NSW Cup strength side to top it off. It may have been great for the game overseas but has done nothing but put us behind the 8 ball in regards to season prep

As for Mitchell Pearce, we could have used his long kicking game yesterday when we were struggling coming out of our own end. The other thing he would have helped would have been our bench rotation. Niko would have been coming on and slotting in at hooker instead of defending on an edge and being targeted all afternoon.

Don't turn this into a pearce thread dip shit, there a a thousand others you can spank your monkey over. IMO it has been an extremely poor pre season preparation in more ways than one, Pearce would not have made a difference yesterday, he never has.

Whether Pearce stuffed up or not I don't think going to Dubai & England for a trial match against a team that would rank along side the Wyong Roos was the right thing for the club to do. I certainly hope they don't do it next year.

Injuries, drunken antics, a young side there are many things we can blame, i must admit i have not seen or heard the game ( sons cricket grand final ), just read some posts and received plenty of texts. That total bullshit trip to the UK for the nuff nuff game is a big part to play, The Broncos were flat as tacks against a dud Parra side, The Cowboys equally struggled against the Sharks, their experience got them them home. Screw the world club challenge it takes 4 weeks out of your pre season and experts say 3 weeks to get over the travel to play top level footy. I havent given up hope yet, besides we still have the bogan teflon superstar to come back.

Blame the coach! He loves the premiership winning bogan and wanted to go to Engand to give his young teams some big game big crowd and travel experience. Maybe you should coach.
