I think most of our woes yesterday can be brought down to poor defensive effort. Structures didn't look too bad, but on most occasions there was no defensive line speed. We stood back and waited for the attack to come to us, resulting in 10-15m every run. Also a lot of simple missed tackles. Lack of effort or fitness is to blame for that.
I can only remember once or twice when Souths kicked from their own half. We were constantly defending attacking kicks. Any team is in for a very tough day when they are up against that.
