  • I seriously can't wait to the Teflon One comes back!!!!!

His creativity and his ability to kick field goals, let's not forget how often he gets us home in tight games, just his all round presence on the footy field is sorely missed, I dare say that if he played those first 2 games we would not be where we are right now, sitting only 2 points out of the 8 and only 4 points off top spot.

Hurry back Teflon, we and especially Rooster 6 miss you

One of the young guys I work with bought a Roosters football into work even though he follows another team. (they think I will feed them more chocolate if they are nice about Easts) The guys like to toss it around when they get stressed. I've warned them (like Carol Brady in The Brady Bunch) "Don't play ball in the house! You know if that ball goes crashing through a window out onto George Street it will all be Mitchell Pearce's fault!"

Agree 100% Rusty. Isn't he the mostest winning half back in the comp over the last three years?

That is generally where his drop goal attempts and kicks in goal end up so it is most definately his fault

Despite the obvious piss taking it is hard to say we would not be a better team with Pearce back. Having the youngest and most inexperienced halves pairing is not desirable and nor was it Robbo's plan prior to 26/1. Its not like our halves have kicked arse over the first 2 rounds.

I'm just looking at the immediate short-term problem. I honestly believe our team will be stronger for the time being once he comes back.

I was waiting for the break down.

After years of telling everyone Joe Blow could do a better job the realisation must be setting in.

At this stage it is unclear who is taking the piss the most

I'm starting to want him back, just so people would quit blaming losses on his absence.
Nobody expects the young halves to play like veterans from the word go.Heck, some supporters were still saying to give Pearce more time after he'd been in first grade for 3 seasons.

Remember the set of 6 we had on the weekend when Hastings thought about taking the one point?
He got rushed by the defence and changed his plan at the last second. Almost scored a try.
Pearce would have panicked, persisted with the field goal attempt and missed by two miles.
