Is not a reaslist. I hate the scoreline, I hate that we let in some soft tries but thats what happens when you lack experience and in some cases (lets be honest) ability. They had the same 17 out there that played in the GF last year. We had 8 from our top 17 last year. Lets revers the tables, take JT and another 6 players out and imagine what the scoreline would be. I think the game against St Helens fooled some of us into believing that we were better than what we actually are. There is a good football side in us, I just don't think it's this season and it might not even be next season.

But if we've lost eight players and have three to come back... the big three in RTS, Maloney and Jennings gone... who are the other two? Surely we must have cap space... this is not a side that cost our full cap. People don't lose talent, they lose desire. The Pearce and SKD circuses have hurt us, but footballers don't forget how to tackle.
Some of those pushed passes and drop balls are a mix of inexperience and tiredness, sure, but the facy remains the we are getting whacked every week. Something is fundamentally wrong. Have we not adjusted to the tweaked rules and lower interchange? We aren't competitive, and we've made some bad decisions... as have some of our team.

Totally agree HC.
The funny thing is that some of these people were crying for new blood.
Now they cant handle the reality of fresh faced kids making mostakes against world class opposition during our team's rough trot.
I can't wait for the arm chair coaches to come out this week.

3 games in 15 days and those games our younger players mentality damaged from being hammered but more so by the so called senior players. morale would have to be low. they are trying unlike some others who are being paid triple. the return of senior players may not impact at all as the damage is being done. i love the roosters but we are a rabble of a club once again starting from the front office, coaching staff and captaincy.the pain.

All the outside dramas aside, the club lost it's best half, a great centre, a potentially great fullback and several hard as stone forwards. I watched half the game tonight and didn't feel bothered by it. I don't know if that's because I just don't care anymore or that I was expecting it. I hope it's the latter. 'SUPER DRAGON!

Ability is not there, basic errors from the whole team, and i think our halves are too scared to play their natural game.
Next week looks like;
Mitchell
Toops
Fergo
Skd
Burgess
yep or even better
Mitchell
Burgess
Manu
Fergo
SKD

It was very painful to watch but no different to what i expected.
Yeah I didn't even get worked up about this one. Usually I have a go at the refs and am not content with a loss (especially a big loss) but we were cr@p. So were the Cowboys TBH!!! We got a shyte load of penalties within attacking range and did nothing with them. This season our 2 attacking options seem to be:
1. Do a ridiculously long pass that gets knocked on or leads to the person catching being forced into touch
2. Do a REALLY hard grubber that is destined to go dead
Better hope that Pearce, Cords and JWH can bring some composure because right now we're playing like a NSW Cup team!! To add injury to insult, we've just lost Copley (possibly for the season given the description?)
Doesn't help that I'm down with the flu but have to go to work tomorrow because there's a shyte load of reports due. Faaaark my life sux at the moment!!
